Beverly Hills Cubital Tunnel Decompression
The ulnar nerve is most commonly compressed in the cubital tunnel which is located at the elbow joint. Commonly referred to as the “funny bone,” compression of the ulnar nerve at the cubital tunnel can cause numbness, tingling, or weakness in the hand. Decompression of the nerve requires making an incision at the level of the elbow. Sometimes, a transposition of the ulnar nerve (moving the nerve out of the cubital tunnel) is required.
